How that affects this list. Products from brands we have a commercial relationship with are listed first. Products we earn little or nothing from can still appear, lower down, when they belong in the comparison.
How the order is set. The top three slots are named picks — best overall, most popular, best value — and each states the measurement it won on. Every product after them is ordered by one fixed formula: the Amazon star rating and review count, applied identically. No brand can pay for a slot, a badge or a score.

Why trust this list
We do not rate these ourselves. Every claim on this page is tied to public Amazon rating and review-theme data, and carries the count it came from.
Only 2 of the 4 listings here carry review themes about the pump itself, and across them WinnerReviews counted 75 of 225 mentions of the pump and of leaks positive, 33%. New pumps get praised; the complaints come later, when a pump stops and the tank fills and overflows. Ivation owners rate pump reliability 15% positive across 108 mentions. Buy a pump model for a basement with no drain below it, and plan for the day it quits.
75 of 225 mentions, 2 of 4 units
Pump models carry small tanks, and when the pump is not connected, or stops, the tank fills within a day and switches the machine off. WinnerReviews counted 141 of 338 mentions of tank size and emptying positive across 2 of these 4 units, 42%. Treat the tank as a fallback, not as the plan.
141 of 338 mentions, 2 of 4 units
WinnerReviews counted 365 of 611 durability and reliability mentions positive across 3 of these 4 units, 60%. The failure owners describe most is the quiet one: the machine keeps running but stops collecting water. With a pump you never see the bucket, so you also never see it stay empty. A cheap hygrometer in the room is the simplest way to notice.

Overview
This is our top pick with a pump because it is the most proven dehumidifier on the page: it carries far more ratings than anything else here and covers the most floor space. Owners describe a damp lower level feeling different overnight, rooms that feel cooler once the moisture is gone, and a setup simple enough that reading the instructions is the hardest part. Wi-Fi control means you can check it without going downstairs.
One caution matters more on this page than on any other. Amazon publishes no pump theme for this listing and few of its reviews mention the pump, so its rating speaks for the dehumidifier rather than the pump. Reliability is mixed, and the complaint is specific: a unit that keeps running but stops collecting water. The tank holds 1.6 gallons, so connect the pump on day one and check after the first week that water is still leaving through the hose.

Overview
This is the pump model whose owners talk most about the pump itself, and mostly they like it. They set it beside a basement sink or run the hose out of a window, switch it on and stop thinking about it, and build quality is the theme they rate highest. It is compact and quiet for a pump unit and picks up again on its own after a power cut. One owner watched a mid-sized basement fall to fifty percent inside a couple of hours.
Leakage is the theme Amazon rates negative, and the reports share a cause: a pump that stopped while the tank kept filling, or a unit that leaked when full instead of shutting off. The tank holds under 1.5 gallons, so the pump is not optional on this model. Stand it on concrete or a dirt floor rather than carpet, and look at the far end of the hose now and then.

Overview
Ivation built this one around the pump, and its owners bought it for exactly that: water pushed up into a washing-machine drain or out of a basement window, with no bucket to carry. It has the biggest tank we can confirm on this page, as a fallback, and it restarts after a power cut, so the basement keeps drying through a storm. Its listing is also the only one here that relates its capacity to the old government rating.
The pump is also the part that fails, and the counts are blunt. Pump reliability is the worst-rated theme on this page, with fewer than one mention in six positive. Owners describe it quitting after months, or just after the warranty ran out, and the leaks follow from the same failure. When it works, people love it. Test the pump in the first weeks, and register the warranty the day it arrives.

Waykar's crawlspace unit is the heavy-duty option here, with a metal casing and both a pump hose and a gravity hose in the box, so you can pick either route on the day. Owners running it in crawlspaces and finished basements describe humidity coming down fast, then the machine cycling on and off once it reaches the target. Build quality and setup are the two themes where every mention is positive.
We rank it last only because we have no affiliate link for it, and two cautions apply. Like the hOmeLabs, it has no pump theme on Amazon, and one owner set it beside a sump and never needed the pump at all. Durability is mixed, with a freeze-up after a few months and a unit that ran without ever reaching its set point. The compressor warranty runs 5 years, the longest stated here, so register it.

A pump earns its place by lifting water higher than the machine: up to a laundry sink, into a washing-machine standpipe or out of a basement window. Measure that rise before you buy, from the floor to the sink rim or window sill, and add the length of the run across the room.

| hOmeLabs 50 Pint | Not stated | Not stated | 1.6 gal | Not stated |
| AEOCKY with pump | 16.5 ft | 5 m (16.4 ft) pump hose | 1.45 gal | Yes |
| Ivation 50 Pint | Not stated (to a window or sink) | Not stated | 2.25 gal | Yes |
| Waykar 70 Pint | 16.4 ft | 16.4 ft pump hose and 6.6 ft gravity hose | Not stated | Yes |
As stated on each product's Amazon listing when we collected it, October 2026. "Not stated" means the listing does not say, not that the feature is missing.
Only two of these listings state a lift height. AEOCKY and Waykar both quote about 16 feet and put a hose of that length in the box; Waykar adds a short gravity hose as well. hOmeLabs and Ivation describe pumping up to a window or a sink without giving a figure, so check the manual or ask the seller if your outlet is high or far away.
If there is a floor drain or a sump pit below the machine, a plain gravity hose does the same job with nothing to wear out. One Waykar owner set the unit beside a sump and never used the pump at all, and an hOmeLabs owner describes it draining straight into the sump hole.
A pump is for the basement with neither: a finished room with no drain, a crawlspace, a space where the only outlet is higher than the floor. That is exactly where a pump model is worth its extra cost and its extra failure point. On this page the pump is the theme owners turn on: Ivation owners rate pump reliability 15% positive.
Every leak report here traces back to the same sequence: the pump stops, the tank fills, and the water goes somewhere it should not. Stand the machine on concrete, tile or a dirt floor rather than carpet, keep the hose free of kinks and secure its far end so it cannot slip out of the sink.
Look at the outlet now and then and confirm water is still coming out, especially in the first weeks and again just before the warranty ends. Several owners only found out the pump had quit when they noticed a full tank or a damp smell.
Set the target around 50%. The EPA advises keeping indoor humidity below 60%, and ideally between 30% and 50%, and a separate hygrometer in the far corner tells you whether the room as a whole is there.
