Patrick Ta Mini Blush vs Full Size: Which One to Buy?
The Patrick Ta mini blush costs $25; the full size costs $40. Both are the same crème-and-powder duo, and the brand calls the mini "the same formula you know and love" on its mini product page.
The difference isn't only size. The mini cuts the crème side much harder than the powder side, and that decides who should buy it.
Who is the mini wrong for? Anyone who wants a shade outside six, and anyone who wears the crème every day. Everyone else should probably start small.

Which Patrick Ta blush shades come in mini?
Six Patrick Ta blush shades come in the $25 mini: She's That Girl, She's Blushing, She's Seductive, She Goes to the Gym, She Left Me On Red and She Knows Who She Is. On patrickta.com in September 2026, five were in stock and She's Seductive was sold out.
| Mini shade | Official descriptor | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| She's That Girl | Soft Pink | Fair, cool or neutral skin |
| She's Blushing | Rosey Taupe | Fair to medium, any undertone |
| She's Seductive (sold out) | Warm Rosey Beige | Medium, olive or tan |
| She Goes to the Gym | Cool Mauve Rose | Medium, cool |
| She Left Me On Red | Warm Vivid Red | Dark skin |
| She Knows Who She Is | Rich Mocha | Deep skin |
The "best for" column comes from my shade guide for all 21 Patrick Ta blushes, which places each shade by skin depth and undertone. That's where to go if your shade isn't on this list.
The lineup started smaller. When the mini first showed up on the Sephora app, a thread on r/Sephora in October 2025 noted it was only available in She's That Girl.
There was also a limited two-mini set, She Goes to the Gym plus She's Seductive, for $40 instead of $50. It was sold out on patrickta.com in September 2026, so don't plan around it.
Mini vs full size: what the extra $15 buys
The full size holds more than twice the product for $15 more.
Patrick Ta's customer team says on the full-size product page that every duo contains 6 g of crème and 4 g of powder. Sephora lists the mini at 1.6 g of crème and 2.6 g of powder.
So what does a gram cost? I divided each price by its total weight.
The mini works out to about $5.95 per gram (4.2 g for $25). The full size is $4.00 per gram (10 g for $40). By weight, the mini costs roughly 49% more.
That math only uses list prices on the brand site and the two published weights. It ignores sales, and it assumes you'll finish the pan — which is a big assumption with blush.
The crème side is where the mini shrinks
The mini keeps about 65% of the full-size powder but only about 27% of the crème. Put the two sets of weights side by side and that's the split: 2.6 g against 4 g of powder, 1.6 g against 6 g of crème.
Why does that matter? Because owners say the crème is the half that runs out first. One r/Sephora commenter finishes the crème side before the powder and wishes the halves came as separate refills.
Patrick Ta's own method uses both.
The brand's fair-skin guide says to lay down the powder, then dab the crème over it for longer wear. If that's your daily routine, the mini's crème pan is the part you'll hit bottom on.
If you mostly reach for the powder, the mini is a much better deal than its per-gram price suggests.
When is the Patrick Ta mini blush the better buy?
The Patrick Ta mini blush is the better buy when you're testing a shade, traveling, or you own a lot of blush already. The full size wins when you layer crème over powder every day or want one of the 15 shades the mini doesn't come in.
The slow-use point is real. Here's a full-size owner who finally emptied one:
"I bought this blush in September of 2023 and I had no idea that it will take me 29 months to finish 🫨 I absolutely loved it, but it would be a too big of a commitment to repurchase haha"
- r/PanPorn, February 2026 (879 upvotes)
Twenty-nine months is a long time to wear one color. It also explains the mini's appeal. In the r/Sephora launch thread, one of the most-upvoted replies wished more brands made quality minis that you can "use up in a proper amount of time."
My rule:
- First Patrick Ta blush, or a shade you're unsure of: the mini.
- Powder-first, a few days a week: the mini.
- Crème over powder, every day: the full size.
- A shade outside the six: the full size, since there's no mini.
Settled on the full size? The full-size duo lists all 21 shades on patrickta.com, 18 of them in stock. Not sure the $40 is justified at all? I weigh that in whether Patrick Ta blush is worth it.
Starting small instead? She's Blushing in mini is the safest single shade to test. It's the one shade Patrick Ta recommends for both fair and medium skin.
FAQ
Is the Patrick Ta mini blush the same formula as the full size?
Yes. Patrick Ta describes the mini as the same formula as its full-size duo, with a crème side for radiance and a powder side for a soft matte finish. Only the size and the shade range change.
Where can you buy the Patrick Ta mini blush?
The mini is sold on patrickta.com and at Sephora, which lists its size on its product page. Stock differs by shade: She's Seductive was sold out on the brand site in September 2026.
Is the mini blush worth it?
The mini is worth it if you won't finish a 10 g duo before you're bored of the shade. Per gram it costs about 49% more than the full size, so heavy daily users are better off with the $40 duo.
